This category includes clothing that protects against minor external threats – that is why we commonly call it workwear fabrics. These are primarily all types of aprons (e.g. aprons for chefs used in the HoReCa industry or specialist uniforms for waiters, hairdressing and shop aprons), clothing for healthcare workers and other lightweight clothing (cassocks, surplices, albs, skirts, trousers and others). Thanks to the use of fabrics with versatile applications, they can be used to make tablecloths, all types of covers or room decoration elements.

Category 2 includes fabrics that protect against factors that, although specific, do not pose a direct threat to life or health – i.e. factors that could be classified as medium-moderate. However, these fabrics require appropriate certification. Such a certificate can be obtained from an external entity, in accordance with the maintenance of health and safety standards. These are fabrics intended primarily for workwear for: welders, road sector workers, and those workers who are exposed to chemical substances.

Category 3 is a category of protective fabrics, highly specialized. Workwear made of these fabrics is designed to directly protect against external factors that pose a threat to the life or health of the employee. These will be fabrics intended for workwear that protect against: – high temperature – above 100 degrees C (fire brigades, specialized rescue units directly exposed to the risk of very high temperatures) – low temperature (WOPR, GOPR employees and other units specialized in saving human life – the effects of chemical and biological warfare agents (units participating in operations occurring during ecological disasters, and those exposed to work in a chemically and biologically aggressive environment).
